We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales of our technical products and solutions by providing pre-sales support, technical expertise, and product demonstrations to customers. If you have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering value to customers, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify sales opportunities, understand customer requirements, and develop technical solutions to meet their needs.
  2. Provide pre-sales support to customers, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposals.
  3. Conduct technical assessments and needs analysis to understand customer challenges, identify opportunities, and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
  4. Customize and configure products to meet customer specifications and demonstrate their functionality and benefits.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, influencers, and decision-makers, building rapport and trust to facilitate sales opportunities.
  6. Assist with the preparation of sales proposals, quotes, and bids, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.
  7. Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other internal teams to gather customer feedback, identify product enhancements, and prioritize product development efforts.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  9. Provide post-sales support and technical assistance to customers, addressing questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  10. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and technical specifications in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales roles, preferably in the industrial automation
  • Strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with [specific technologies, products, or solutions relevant to the role].
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales and achieving revenue targets in a technical sales environment.
