We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales of our technical products and solutions by providing pre-sales support, technical expertise, and product demonstrations to customers. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify sales opportunities, understand customer requirements, and develop technical solutions to meet their needs.
- Provide pre-sales support to customers, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposals.
- Conduct technical assessments and needs analysis to understand customer challenges, identify opportunities, and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
- Customize and configure products to meet customer specifications and demonstrate their functionality and benefits.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, influencers, and decision-makers, building rapport and trust to facilitate sales opportunities.
- Assist with the preparation of sales proposals, quotes, and bids, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other internal teams to gather customer feedback, identify product enhancements, and prioritize product development efforts.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide post-sales support and technical assistance to customers, addressing questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and technical specifications in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales roles, preferably in the industrial automation
- Strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
