Position: Account Manager (Microsoft Vendor Management)
Location: Kuala Lumpur- Hybrid/Remote
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Account Manager to join the team and take ownership of managing relationships with Microsoft vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT sales and vendor management, with a deep understanding of Microsoft's product portfolio and licensing agreements. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to cultivate and maintain long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Microsoft vendors, fostering strong relationships and driving collaboration to achieve mutual business objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue growth and market penetration opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape related to Microsoft products and services.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing accounts, driving upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical support, to deliver comprehensive solutions that address customer needs.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and licensing agreements with Microsoft vendors to ensure favorable outcomes for both parties.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on account performance, highlighting key metrics and actionable insights.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance and thought leadership on Microsoft technologies and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in IT sales, with a focus on Microsoft products and services.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing agreements, pricing models, and product portfolios.
- Must be someone who has dealt with Microsoft Vendor
