; Beware of fake job scams!

Protect yourself, do not fall into the traps of scammers!

Beware, scams are on the rise!

It was brought to our attention that an increasing number of people were approached by scammers impersonating Adecco employees. They tried offering fake jobs or inviting individuals to attend fake job interviews with organisations.

The Adecco Malaysia recruitment team only corresponds with the "@adecco.com or @adeccogroup.com" email domain. Official communication regarding job offers and interview schedules will be communicated via email, not solely through non-verifiable communication tools (Whatsapp, Telegram, social media).

Should anyone demand a fee or payment from you at any point of the recruitment process in the name of Adecco, kindly refrain from paying. Do not have any further contact with the senders as these individuals are professional criminals whose goal is to exploit you and steal your money and/or personal information.

To avoid falling for such traps, please ensure you:

  1. Do not click any suspicious links
  2. Do not share sensitive personal information (NRIC, bank account number, one-time password, verification codes)
  3. Only transact with official business accounts
  4. Resist the pressure to act immediately
  5. Stop and speak with someone you trust

If you are sceptical of the recruiter who has approached you, or the job opportunity is too good to be true, alert us by writing to marketing.my@adecco.com to verify the consultant's identity and job opening. Alternatively, you can opt to file a report with the local authorities.
