We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse and Logistics Executive to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility and manage the logistics processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, inventory control, and logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and resources.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize warehouse operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
Logistics Management:
- Coordinate transportation, distribution, and delivery of products to customers.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
- Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any transportation issues.
- Optimize logistics processes to minimize costs while maximizing efficiency.
Inventory Control:
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
- Conduct regular inventory analysis and forecasting to anticipate demand and prevent stockouts.
- Implement inventory control measures to reduce shrinkage and ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in warehouse management and logistics operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
