BI Engineer _ New_ 12 Months Contract

The industry provides premium consulting services in IT infrastructure, governance risk, and compliance.

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight to fulfill organizational BI needs.
• Establish connections between AWS QuickSight and various data sources within and outside AWS ecosystem for comprehensive data analysis.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to decipher requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions, driving insightful outcomes.
• Optimize data models and queries within AWS QuickSight for enhanced performance and scalability.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in reports and dashboards through rigorous data validation and testing procedures.

• Minimum 3 years of BI development experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to AWS QuickSight.
• Demonstrated proficiency in creating intricate analyses and visualizations tailored to business objectives, utilizing AWS QuickSight.
• Solid background in data warehousing and adherence to BI best practices, preferably with exposure to AWS data technologies (e.g., Redshift, RDS, S3).
• Proven ability to engage directly with business users, eliciting requirements and delivering data-centric solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience as a BI Engineer or Data Analyst, evidenced by a robust portfolio showcasing AWS QuickSight proficiency.
• Sound comprehension of data warehousing principles, SQL, and data modeling techniques.
• Proficiency in connecting to diverse data sources and designing ETL workflows to facilitate BI reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with additional AWS data services (e.g., Amazon Redshift, RDS, S3, Glue) is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude, coupled with the ability to independently tackle complex projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of effective collaboration with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet stringent deadlines.
