Main tasks & Responsibilities
• Regional role, working with CI/asset owners across the region
• Working with vendors to keep CM DB up to date
• Ability to lead communities of practice on Configuration Management
• Plans the capture and management of CI s and related information for your region.
• Contributes to development of configuration management strategies, policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Ensures that operational processes are in place to maintain secure configuration,
consistent classification and management of CI s, and for the verification and audit of configuration records
• Develops, configures and maintains tools (including automation) to identify, track,
log and maintain accurate, complete and current information
• Reports on the status of configuration management for the region.
• Identifies problems and issues with Configuration Management and recommends corrective actions.
Work Experience
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience with a strong background in configuration management
• Broad service management experience working within an
international corporate environment
Education
• University degree preferably in a technical subject or any comparable education
• ITI L v3 certification advantageous
