We seek a proficient Cloud Identity Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Entra ID. The role entails strategizing and executing identity, authorization, and access solutions to integrate applications and assets within Azure.
Job responsibilities
• Oversee User Identity & Access lifecycle on Azure Cloud Platform.
• Administer permissions for Azure services and assets.
• Create and administer user profiles, groups, and RBAC.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and report on identity and access challenges.
• Manage Privileged Access.
• Continuously evaluate implemented technologies and policies, proposing enhancements.
• Ensure efficient configuration and effectiveness of security controls.
• Play a key role in security project implementation.
• Stay informed about emerging cyber threats.
• Supervise security vendor and partner SLAs.
Job requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of identity and access management expertise.
• 2+ years’ experience as an Azure Cloud IAM administrator.
• Proficiency in Azure cloud identity and access management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft's suite of identity tools like Defender for Identity, AADP2, Conditional Access, and Risk-based access.
• Experience in managing cloud ID posture, vulnerability resolution, and compliance.
• Incident management and response experience, including incident identification, root cause analysis, containment, and response protocols.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and Bank Negara Malaysia’s RMIT.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
• Enthusiastic about cybersecurity.
