• Analyze systems and networks proactively or by responding to requests from users.
• Make sure that the current systems are regularly reviewed and maintained. Solve troubleshooting issues or requests as they come up. When needed, arrange for direct support to be given.
• Uphold effective IT security, backup, up time and disaster recovery processes of the network and systems. Make sure the SLAs are followed when reviewing and testing the plans, procedures, documentation, and execution of the above-mentioned activities.
• Create technical and user requirements as well as specifications for new or modified systems.
• Manage the development of documentation pertaining to system installation and operation instructions.
• Assists IT management in making sure that systems adhere to general IT standards and rules.
• Monitor use, capacity and performance of the network and systems to make sure efficiency and availability are maintained or enhanced.
• When necessary, suggest modifications, and when given the task, carry out the agreed-upon improvements.
• Verify that there are no technical issues encountered during the installation and setup of the new system and network hardware or software.
• Keeps up a good working relationship with outside suppliers to guarantee the right kind of assistance.
• Perform network and system quality assurance or IT audits and offer recommendations for the essential steps to be taken to guarantee standards are met.
