We seek a Cybersecurity Engineer adept in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies to bolster our security team. Your role involves implementing and upholding a zero-trust framework for our organization, ensuring data and asset security across all platforms.
Job responsibilities
- Deploy SASE elements like FWaaS, SWG, IPS, NGAM, ZTNA, CASB, DLP to align with our security needs and business objectives.
- Monitor and ensure compliance of the zero-trust framework, addressing any identified gaps.
- Continuously assess SASE technologies and policies, proposing enhancements as needed.
- Collaborate with SASE providers for technical support and handle troubleshooting for zero-trust related incidents.
- Optimize and maintain security controls.
- Contribute to security project implementations.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats.
- Manage security vendors and partners' SLAs.
Job requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of security engineering, architecture, or operations experience, with a focus on zero trust, identity and access management, network security, or cloud security.
- Over 2 years’ experience as a zero-trust-related security engineer.
- Proficiency in implementing zero-trust technologies like SASE & SDWAN.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and Bank Negara Malaysia’s RMIT.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
